	Course Requirements: Students will design an individualized program of study that includes: core mathematics seminar on ethics in research biology and life science course work journal clubs laboratory rotations internships All students will have a life science mentor and will participate in a Special Interest Group. Research projects will be jointly directed by life science and mathematics faculty. Upon completion of the program, students will receive a PhD in Mathematics.
