How To Apply:
The Math Biology program is a part of the Mathematics Department
graduate program, and application is made for graduate study in the
Mathematics Department.
For information on how to apply to the Mathematics
graduate program, please click here.
If you are interested in being considered for an IGERT
fellowship, we ask that you write a separate letter,
addressed to the IGERT Fellowship Committee, to include
in your application to the Mathematics Department. In
this letter, you should state your interest in
interdisciplinary study of Mathematical Biology, along
with a summary of your background or experience in
biology. Please note that a background in Biology is not
a requirement for support, but it does help us gauge your
level of interest and commitment, which is important.
You are strongly encouraged to submit your completed application by
January 31 (even though the departmental deadline is not
until much later). This will allow qualified applicants
to attend our annual interview/recruiting weekend, which
is usually held on the last weekend in February.
Take a look at the IGERT Program or
Mathematical Biology
websites for further information. Please note that a
student must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident to
be eligible for IGERT fellwoship support.
We look forward to receiving your application.
