Announcements

• The final exam and solutions are now posted. Unfortunately, there's a problem with the scanner in the math building and I wasn't able to post the solutions with the hand drawn pictures. So, the solutions are currently posted without the pictures. The solutions with the pictures will be posted towards the end of next week.


• The final exam for the class in on August 3rd, from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM in our usual classroom, JTB 130. If you have a problem with this and have not yet talked with me please contact me ASAP. I'm leaving immediately after the exam, so I can handle accomodations before the exam, but not after.


• So, quiz 2 was definitely too difficult. There were some integrals I should have provided that I did not, and judging from the scores it was much too long and too hard. Don't worry, it will be curved. Also, I've decided that as the midterm was essentially just a quiz on chapter 12, if it will help your grade I will decrease its importance to that of just another quiz. If it helps your grade to weight the midterm more heavily, I'll use the original weighting system on the syllabus.


• Unlike it says on the syllabus, we will only be covering up through section 14.5 of the textbook, and will have a review on Wednesday, August 1st.
