VIGRE Mini-courses 2002

**Complex Hyperbolic Geometry**

The first of the two graduate mini-courses that was offered in the summer of 2002 through the Department of Mathematics at the University of Utah was conducted by Richard Schwartz (Maryland), Jim Carlson (Utah), and Domingo Toledo (Utah). **Variational Methods and Nonlinear PDE**

The second mini-course, conducted by Jean Mawhin (Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium), Klaus Schmitt (Utah), and David Hartenstine (Utah), was devoted to variational methods and nonlinear PDE.
